Hyperbaric oxygen as an adjunctive therapy in treatment of malignancies, including brain tumours

From 2016, this study reviewed the data on Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy as a cancer treatment to date, and came to the conclusion that hyperbaric oxygen therapy is well-tolerated, non-toxic, and can inhibit tumor growth and cancer cell death (apoptosis).

The authors also found that that there was little to no toxicity experienced by the patients who underwent the treatments.
